The artistic style of Yvonne M. Kelly spans several years and media. Ranging from Oils and Acrylics, many on reverse glass, to hard edge metals and canvases and finally to her innovative " Paperworks".
The reverse glass pieces defy one to distinguish between paint and natural glass. Many have a combination of objects suspended within or on top of the work. All persons viewing them are compelled to get up close and study them further. The subjects alone are so interesting that you smile at the very thought of how anyone can imagine or create them. The answer- only the talented artist Yvonne M. Kelly.
Her Paperworks were award winning and led the way for future artists to imitate this technique but none with the same content or construction that she was able to attain.

"Using paper as my medium, I seem able to flow from hard edge to soft edge as effectively as I would with paint. I usually allow the paper itself to dictate the handling- sometimes its the color or the texture."
